About The Anza Valley Community Library:
The Anza Library began in a retired bookmobile permanently located at the local community park. When Hemet Unified School District planned to build a local High School, the Riverside County Library System (RCLS) along with the former Friends of the Anza Library came together to establish the first RCLS joint-use library, which opened on September 7, 1999. The former Friends of the Anza Library played a pivotal role in that successful endeavor.
Our Library offers a variety of services designed to appeal to both the community and students by providing excellent programming, such as preschool story time, game night with both board and video games, monthly book club, and weekly educational programs.
The Anza Valley Community Library strives to provide unique opportunities to the public. In addition to its usual services of computers free wi-fi and inexpensive printing and copy services, the Library is constantly updating its collections with new authors and titles, and caring for well-loved favorites.
Currently the Library operates on a schedule based on school hours which limits public access to the Library.
Our goal is to have a full-time Library for the Anza Valley Community
